An Lạc Hạnh is a small Vietnamese Buddhist association in Melbourne's north. For over twenty years we have offered religious support, counselling and welfare to families across Victoria — gently, and without cost.

Our mission is simple: to offer religious support and counselling to those who need it — with warmth, and without judgment.
Care before ceremony
When a family faces hardship — illness, grief, a new country, an empty pantry — we respond first as neighbours: listening, visiting, cooking, connecting people to help. The Dharma begins with a cup of tea.
Practice made simple
Buddhist teachings should be livable, not just scholarly. Our study circles and retreats are bilingual, unhurried and practical — mindfulness you can carry into a busy Tuesday.
Everyone means everyone
Elders who built this community, children growing up between two cultures, new arrivals finding their feet, and friends of every background — our doors, tables and ceremonies are open to all.

Lễ Rằm Tháng Giêng — Full Moon Ceremony
The traditional first full-moon prayer service of the lunar year, followed by a vegetarian lunch. All are welcome.
