Chùa An Lạc Hạnh — Lalor, Victoria
An Lac Hanh Association of Victoria Inc. is a registered Buddhist temple and community charity serving the Vietnamese and wider community of Melbourne’s northern suburbs for over two decades — through worship, language and culture education, meditation, and care for families, seniors, migrants and refugees.
Our mission is to provide a welcoming spiritual home and practical community support: nurturing Buddhist practice, teaching Vietnamese language and culture to the next generation, and standing beside people in our community who need care, counsel or connection.
Regular chanting services, meditation gatherings and the great Buddhist festivals — Vesak, Vu Lan and Lunar New Year — open to everyone.
See our services →Weekend classes where children learn Vietnamese language, Buddhist moral teachings, traditions and family values in a caring environment.
About the school →Religious support, pastoral visits and counselling for community members facing illness, grief, isolation or hardship — including seniors and new arrivals.
How we help →Registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), our association has been a steady presence for the Vietnamese community of Melbourne’s north for more than twenty years.
All gatherings take place at our temple hall at 80 Cyprus Street, Lalor. Everyone is welcome — you do not need to be Buddhist or speak Vietnamese to attend. Please contact us to confirm current times before your first visit.
